Taylor Abbott to lead Ohio River Commission

We received the following note from Monroe County Treasurer this week:

"I will be resigning from my role as Monroe County Treasurer effective December 31, 2025, as the State has made a tentative offer for me to lead the Ohio River Commission as Executive Director.

I’m grateful for the opportunity and looking forward to the work ahead, and I also wanted to make sure CTAO was informed directly. I have enjoyed every person I've met through the CTAO and serving alongside our talented group of treasurers. I will keep in touch and will try to visit you all during the conferences so that I can stay connected. It has truly been an honor and privilege."

We wish Taylor the best of luck in his new role. He will be missed!
