End of Year CPIM Reminders, Early 2023 Live CPIM Course Dates

As a year-end reminder, if eligible, please file your Notice of Exemption in MyCPIM. If you need credit hours for 2022, please remember that CPIM fees are due before the conclusion of the year. MyCPIM’s online course library offers a variety of opportunities to earn CPIM credit and can be accessed by users 24/7.

 

The Ohio Treasurer’s office will begin offering live webinars in early 2023. Sessions in January and February include:

   

Wednesday, January 18
2022 Economy: Year-in-Review – 10:00 am to 11:00 am (1 credit hour)
This session, presented by Laura Glenn from Public Trust Advisors, will provide an economic overview of the past year and review various challenges that may impact the duties of fiscal officers. The presentation will also include information regarding interest rates,  regulatory reform, and asset allocation.
 
 
Thursday, February 16
Responding to Rating Agencies – 10:00 am to 11:00 am (1 credit hour)
Maintaining a high credit rating minimizes borrowing costs and helps fiscal officers better serve their local communities. This webinar offers an overview of rating presentations, credit enhancement tools, and tips to optimize how information is presented to agencies. Attendees will gain a better understanding of the requirements of credit agencies and best practices for corresponding with them. This session will be facilitated by staff from RBC Capital Markets, Bradley Payne Advisors, and the Ohio Treasurer’s office.

 

CPIM Webinar Guidance: Register for courses using your MyCPIM login email address and the phone number on record. After registering, attend the webinar using your unique Zoom link. Do not attend webinars as a group.
